Walks and Points of Interest, near to Ferndale Park
There is a good walk, to Bray Marina down Monkey Island Lane, just off the Windsor Road (A308) and you can continue walking past the boat yard down to Bray Village which is famous for Heston Blumenthal’s restaurant The Fat Duck. Another good pub is The Royal Oak, in nearby Littlefield Green village, on Paley Street.
There are also good walks at Braywick Park which is in Hibbert Road off the A308 to Maidenhead, also at Grange Park off the Windsor Road.
Facilities close to the park include: a good Post Office. Also a Barbers and a Sandwich Bar and there is a petrol station just a few metres from Fifield Road.
